Sportium becomes official betting operator for La Liga

The Spanish Football League Association (Liga de Fútbol Profesional  - LFP) announced that Spanish sports betting operator, Sportium had been selected to become official betting operator for Spain’s top two professional football divisions – La Liga & Segunda division.

Reporting for its headquarters in Madrid, the LFP confirmed that the operator would serve as immediate partner for the two highest tiers of professional Spanish football.

LFP further confirmed that Sportium would promote its betting services in accordance to LFP rules and regulations and that the operator would promote safe and responsible gambling to the Spanish consumer.

Sportium a joint 50-50 venture between Spanish Gambling operator CIRSA and Ladbrokes Plc will be promoted throughout LFP official broadcasting and through the LFP online inventory. The sports betting brand will sit alongside LFP match day partners Banco BBVA, Mahou, Huawai and Burger King.
